Kate Pleskac

Kate manages all administrative aspects of the graduate program, ensures students are meeting milestones, and works with department leadership to develop and implement changes that promote student success. Overseeing two graduate programs (Math & Economics), Kate strives to improve efficiency and communication. She loves new tech, keyboard shortcuts, and anything that makes life easier. A University of Iowa graduate with a B.A. in Journalism and Sociology, Kate joined KU in 2018. While a Midwest native, she has lived in 10 cities, 6 states, and 3 countries.
