Declaring a Major or Minor in Mathematics

Students planning on majoring in mathematics should formally declare the major as soon as possible. This allows the math department to contact you with information about advising, scholarships, etc. (It is easy to change the major declaration if you change your mind later.)

To declare the mathematics major, meet with a mathematics department advisor and fill out a Major Declaration Form available at the Mathematics Department office, 405 Snow Hall.

Minor Declaration Forms are also available at the Mathematics Department office, 405 Snow Hall.
